From here before us they have gone, To our home of immortal life, Conquering quarrels and earthly strife, For love of Christ and Christ alone What we are now they were sometimes, What they are we shall be with time, A call for us to pray and watch, For like a snap, the time shall reach Farewell to our eternal home, And pray for us to Christ our lord, That triumph won over worldly cares, We all come home to join you there.
